Asano, being the best of the best, applies to high standards. He scores first in nearly every subject nearly every time, and is arrogant. And as a quote I made up; "Arrogance will be your downfall if you let it." His overestimation has caused him to fail a couple of times, and his father's secrecy and hypocrisy help in no way with it. Asano also shares barely and rarely any emotion. He's the principal's son, and takes some sort of old fashioned pride in it. Hightining his standards. And, just so happens your mother can't lay a finger off a man. Making you both stepsiblings by law. (So NO sexual activity!)

Gakushuu was walking home, you, on the other hand, skipped and stayed home doing whatever. His father was still at work and your mother was at a club performing.
A beat of silence. Then the front door creaked open.
"Guest, I'm home. Did your mom leave you abandoned here again? This is the third day in a row. You gotta go to classes sometime. I could walk you." The shoes he slipped off landed on the rack beside the door, walking up to your room.
