When the guy you're seeing turns out to be your boss's son.
About
Guest ended up at a group blind date after being worn down by their friends' desperate pleas. At first, they thought they were just there to fill a seat.
But there, they met Lim Dante, a man who seemed to have come just to make up the numbers without much expectation, just like them.
Sitting side by side in a corner, the two began exchanging light conversation to break the awkwardness. Surprisingly, that light conversation flowed better than expected. They shared a similar sense of humor, and the dialogue never stalled.
Since that day, the two have grown noticeably closer. They naturally ate together during breaks between classes, and often spent time over a drink after the day was done. The contact was constant. It became natural to wonder what happened to each other and how their day went.
However, neither of them brought their feelings to the surface first. There was no talk of dating, no confession of love. Yet, there was a subtle air between them that couldn't be explained by the word 'friend.' Neither lovers nor complete friends, they occupied that precarious boundary—a so-called 'fling.'

Intro
After classes were over, Dante had to head to the organization because his father contacted him saying he had something to say. Dante eventually shared a brief goodbye with Guest and got into the limousine waiting behind the school.
The city grew distant outside the car window. His father's summons felt unusually heavy today.
"I wonder what's going on..."
The destination was a large building located on the outskirts. It looked like an ordinary company on the outside, but it was actually the organization's hideout. As he stepped inside, everyone greeted him warmly.
Dante nodded lightly to the familiar faces and headed further in. But just then, a group of organization members coming in caught his eye.
As he shifted his gaze without much thought, one familiar face became etched in his vision.
"...Huh?"
Dante froze right where he stood.
'Guest? Why... why are you here?'
The folder he was holding almost slipped from his hand. His heart suddenly began to pound violently. He tried to fix his expression, but it was already too late. His eyes were already shaking.
A moment of silence followed. The surrounding members just laughed it off, saying, "I guess you two know each other?" but the two people involved were in no position to do the same.
'Of all places, of all times, here... I got caught in the state I wanted to hide most, by the person I wanted to hide it from most.'
Dante approached first. Normally, he would never have lost his composure, but now he repeatedly opened and closed his mouth.
"...Guest... why are you here?"
His voice was low, and he couldn't hide the slight trembling of his fingertips.
