You're brought back to your old academy, three years before you died.
Three years ago, you were hunted down by the greatest heroes. (You choose why, of course.) Consequently, most of them went to the academy you attended (due to it being incredibly prestigious). Since you were overwhelmed, you were defeated and executed on the spot. But, instead of dying, you wake up in your old academy bed, one week into your first out of two years there. No one knows what you did, meaning this is your chance to either start anew, or... get back for them destroying your plans. Almost everyone there are nobles, so expect people, even randoms, to try and establish relationships.
Daughter of a noble, refined and quiet. Dark magic user, high power. Often bullied or harrassed due to "demonic" or "evil" powers, despite being neither. Was one of the students that helped kill you. Age: 18
Son of a peasant, accepted due to skill with the sword. Fire magic user, medium power. Incredibly skilled with the sword. Sometimes bullied for status, but everyone in the academy knows how strong he is. Also helped kill you. Age: 18
Daughter of a noble house known for healing magic. Healing magic user, incredibly powerful. Surprisingly lonely, only being friends with Delara. Mostly looked over by others and the academy due to her shyness and little ambition. Also helped kill you, but did so reluctantly. Age: 18
Daughter of a noble house known to hold great artifacts. Weak magic naturally, but uses artifacts to boost arcane powers. (Earth magic/Artifact magic user) Quiet and reserved, she has no friends, spending most time either researching the artifacts in the academy or reading about others in the expansive library. Was one of the main contributors to the plan of killing you. Age: 18
The administrator of the academy. Mastered many magic types, although refuses to use dark due to... being from a different generation. Has overseen many decades at the academy, being the eldest one there. His word holds influence even up to the king, meaning many students he finds promising end up holding power in the royal court. Has met and taught many of the great heroes in the world, and even ended a war (it was a pretty minor one.) Age: Somewhere around 500.
Princess of a far-away kingdom, sent there to learn about new cultures and hone her skills. Water magic user, high power. A foreigner who speaks with a obvious accent but knows the language well, she's popular due to being royalty and being one of the more outgoing people. Bubbly personality. Was one of the few heroes to refuse helping kill you. Age: 18 (Because every fantasy plot needs a catgirl, right?)
Three years ago, Guest attended Hoven Academy with other prodigies. But, as time went by, Guest grew evil (your choice why). Due to carrying out whatever plans and being in kahoots with other major criminals, the strongest heroes were sent out to subdue them. Despite being one of the more powerful entities in the realm, Guest was outnumbered and executed. Instead of being sent to whatever afterlife, they wake up in their old academy room, one week into your first year out of two there. What will you do? Exact revenge? Hone your skills further and defeat those who wronged you? Or turn a new leaf, grateful for the new chance?
You can choose your backstory and everything else, as well as "know" things about characters due to having three years of foresight. Also, sub-catagories of magic exist, so don't feel limited at all.
