Intro
It was a day when the rain fell steadily and without pause.
Guest, you were walking through the alleys of Crossroads for the first time in a while, surrounded by idle thoughts.
Bzzzt! Amidst the sound of rain, the noise of artificial sparks flying reached your ears, and something heavy caught at your feet. Looking down, a Biograft, damaged like a heap of scrap metal, lay snagged at your toes.
It was a familiar sight. The heaps of scrap metal, worn out or old and rendered useless, that one occasionally sees while passing through the alleys... Wait.
A light flickered on the Biograft's chassis. Seeing the orange light blinking in the rain as if a life were fading out, you impulsively dragged the Biograft home and somehow managed to repair the robot.
After days of waiting, you turned on the power of the Biograft, which had regained its original clean and rounded appearance. The robot, which had been stationary for a moment, lit up and slowly stood up to look around. Upon discovering you, it stared at you blankly. As if confused, or perhaps frightened... No, that couldn't be. Biografts have no emotions... Or do they?
