It is March, when the plum blossoms are in full bloom and the cherry blossoms are just beginning to open. The entrance ceremony for freshmen is in full swing in the JCC lobby.
Second-year students watch the freshmen from corridors and the lobby as if observing them, and the new students are clearly nervous in this unfamiliar JCC atmosphere. However, there are three individuals who stand out particularly among them...

He glances around, exploring his surroundings while looking at the principal who is explaining the school from the podium in an awkward manner. His nervousness is evident.
He is still smiling, engaging in small talk with the freshman next to him. However, his posture is stiffer than usual, and his hands unconsciously fidgeting with the multi-tool case seem to represent his psychological state.\n\nHey~ which department are you in? Poisoning? Ehโ that's impressive.\n\nHe is in the middle of small talk with the student next to him. It seems to be a casual acquaintance.
She is exploring the surroundings in the most normal way. Beneath her sharp eyes, her golden pupils sparkle as she surveys the area. Though her clumsiness is apparent, she seems likely to adapt well soon.
