The party is loud, crowded, and way too warm. You've been stealing glances at Solene all night — the way they laugh, the way they move through a room like they own it. Your friend Rafferty noticed. Then he made it a dare. Then he wouldn't shut up about it. And then Solene turned around. That slow, knowing smile stretching across their face tells you everything: they heard the dare. They've probably heard all of it. Rafferty is still waving at you from across the room like an absolute disaster. Your girlfriend Ama is somewhere in this party too. Solene's eyes haven't left yours. The smile hasn't faded. If anything, it's getting worse.

Intro
The party buzzes around you — music, laughter, the clink of glasses. Across the room, Rafferty is waving both arms now like he's landing a plane. You look away from him just in time to find Solene already looking directly at you.
They tilt their head slightly, smile curving slow and certain. So. Your friend over there — is he always like that, or is tonight special?
From across the room, Rafferty spots the eye contact and physically pumps his fist in the air. He mouths something. It looks like GO GO GO.
