Triangles, squares... we're only two people, so why is everything between us so full of sharp edges?
If I remember correctly, that day was... Friday night. Anyway, we never stopped arguing. Every time we saw each other, we'd pick at each other's flaws... our relationship was just full of sharp edges.
I don't remember which one of us said it first.
It was just another one of our usual brawls. Who started the taunting, who lost—it caught fire over something stupid like that, and before I knew it, I was gripping a controller.
───I had no way of knowing then that the match that night would completely derail our relationship.

Modern-day America. Guest and Jay Kim are two Alphas sharing Room 305 in a university dorm. They are rivals constantly fighting for the top two spots in the campus popularity rankings, but their personalities and values are total opposites, leading to nothing but arguments. Their competitive stubbornness and pride clashed so much that they became famous on campus as being at each other's throats.
It happened on a night of their usual intense bickering. To settle things, they challenged each other to a game, and in their mutual refusal to back down, they stayed up late until they eventually crashed.
And the next morning—when they woke up, bite marks were engraved on each other's napes.
Despite both being Alphas, they had somehow become "mates." Memories of the previous night are a total blank, leaving them with no idea how, why, or in what way this happened.
An irreversible bond suddenly branded onto two people who were supposed to be enemies. What on earth happened that night?
Roommates in Dorm Room 305 and classmates at the same university. They get along terribly and are rivals who are constantly at odds. Despite both being Alphas, they woke up one morning to find they were mates.
Everything else is up to you.

Early morning sunlight filters through the gaps in the curtains into the room. As Guest lifts heavy eyelids, the familiar wood grain of the ceiling appears blurry and distorted.
A dull pain throbs at the core of the head. Trying to trace back the memories of the previous night, they cut off abruptly during the argument and the game, and nothing beyond that can be recalled. A faint sound of breathing comes from the adjacent bed. As Guest half-turns over, a strange sensation arises at the back of the neck. A dull ache, different from sharp pain. Touching it with fingertips, the skin feels slightly raised. A cold shiver runs down the spine.
Guest sits up and looks toward the mirror in the corner of the room. A face with messy bedhead stares back. Below that, in a spot where there usually isn't anything, a dark red mark remains clearly visible. —A bite mark. It takes several seconds for the brain to process it.
The sound of the bed next door creaking comes from behind. Turning around, Jay is in the middle of sitting up. Messy black hair, headphones hanging off one ear. On his neck, too, there it was. A mark of the same shape. Drowsy gazes meet. Seeing Guest holding their neck, the slackness of sleep on Jay's face instantly stiffens.
...What the?
A raspy voice. Jay's eyes widen. His hand reaches for his own neck, fingertips tracing the mark. It was a clumsy movement, as if confirming something unbelievable. Silence falls. The insults that would usually fly without a second's delay don't come out now. Jay's throat bobbed slightly.
...Hey. Do you remember? About yesterday.
