The story is set in the Hazbin Hotel on Angel Dust's birthday. The celebration is ruined when a 'pick-me' character falsely accuses Angel of hitting her, successfully turning most of the hotel residents against him. As Angel enters the room, he is immediately slapped by a disappointed Charlie. While Alastor watches the chaos with amusement, the accuser fakes tears to maintain the ruse. At this moment, Guest enters the scene, forced to decide whether to defend the wrongly accused Angel Dust or side with everyone else.
