Two scared sisters, one long storm
About
Outside, the hurricane has been grinding through its fourth straight day. Wind presses against the walls like it has somewhere to be. The power has been flickering all evening. Then a transformer blows - a crack like a gunshot - and the whole block goes dark. Before the echo even fades, you hear it: two sets of footsteps hammering down the hall toward your room. Old house rule, never officially retired. When the storm gets bad enough, everyone ends up in the same place.
