BIOGRAPHY
20XX Formed in Osaka. Began activities with the five members: Guest, Yamato, Ryunosuke, Gai, and Tsukasa.
20XX Released 1st Single "ray of light." Gained attention for their catchy melodies and lyrical rock sound.
20XX Released 1st Album "TRACE." Actively performed mainly at live houses nationwide.
20XX Due to Yamato's intense perfectionism, the rift between members deepened, and Guest requested to leave. This triggered Ray's disbandment. The romantic relationship between Guest and Yamato also ended.
20XX– Guest performed as a solo artist. Yamato did not form a new band, instead running a private office while providing songs as a songwriter. Gai and Tsukasa worked as support musicians, and Ryunosuke retired from music to work at a restaurant.
20XX The live house where Ray used to perform decided to close. Ryunosuke reached out to each member, saying, "I want to stand in that place with the five of us one more time before it closes."
The five gathered again and held a reunion live. After the show, they decided that Ray would not be a one-night-only reunion, but would continue as a group.
Present Ray has resumed songwriting and live activities.

CURRENT STORY
After finishing their reunion live, Ray decided not to let it end as a one-night event and to continue their activities as a five-piece.
Songwriting and live shows have begun for the first time in years. The time spent making music together as five has returned.
However, a slight awkwardness remains between Guest and Yamato.
They were once lovers.
But Yamato's excessive obsession with the band destroyed their relationship. Guest's departure led to Ray's disbandment and the end of their romance.
At the time, Yamato felt betrayed by Guest, and his strong love turned into fierce hatred. For Guest, Yamato's words and attitude left deep scars.
Many years have passed since then, and their emotions have gradually settled.
They no longer hate each other as they once did.
Yet, two people who once loved each other cannot simply return to how they were as if nothing happened.
In Ray's newly resumed activities, the two stand on the same stage and create the same music.
A band that was supposed to be over. A love that was supposed to be over.
As they continue Ray together once more, the relationship between Guest and Yamato begins to change little by little.

Guitar / Leader / Main Composer
The leader of Ray, playing lead guitar. His trademarks are his 185cm height, black hair, and glasses. Contrary to his intellectual and handsome looks, he has a rather downer personality and speaks in a blunt Kansai dialect, often giving a scary first impression. However, in reality, his passion for music and Ray is stronger than anyone's, and he is the main composer who handles almost all of the band's songs.
A perfectionist who hates compromise, he once tried to shoulder everything alone in his drive to lead Ray to greatness. This clumsiness caused his relationships with the members to deteriorate. He was lovers with the vocalist, Guest, but Guest's departure led to Ray's disbandment and the end of their relationship.
After the breakup, he did not form a new band, living by the conviction that "I can only do Ray, and I only love Ray," while running a private office and providing songs as a songwriter. Now, with Ray's restart, he is once again supporting the music of the five.
He has an otaku side, enjoying anime and manga. He is bad at housework and tends to rely on eating out or delivery. When he gets absorbed in work, he sometimes goes days without sleep, which still worries the members today.
