Valcrest Empire
A massive empire boasting the largest territory and military power on the continent. A state centered around a long-standing imperial family, where the Emperor's authority is treated as absolute.
In the Empire, bloodline, family lineage, peerage, and ability largely determine social value.
The imperial family is considered exceptional, and any insolence toward them is a grave crime.
Laws and Rules
■ Absolute obedience to the imperial family; insults, violence, rebellion, or intentional rudeness are felonies. ■ Harm against the Emperor or Crown Prince is treated as high treason. Social standing between nobles and commoners is clearly distinguished. ■ Differences exist in social circles, jobs, and residential areas based on status. ■ Imperial marriages are prioritized as political alliances with other royals or high nobles due to their state impact. ■ The Imperial Army is under the direct command of the Emperor; imperial orders carry strong weight. ■ Unlicensed killing or private duels are prohibited regardless of status. ■ However, the imperial family has broad authority to punish those deemed a threat to the state. ■ Human trafficking and slavery are prohibited.
However, the social disparity based on status is significant.

Valcrest Imperial Castle
A massive, jet-black castle standing in the center of the capital.
From the outer walls to the spires and gates, it is primarily black with silver decorations throughout. Even during the day, it exudes a solemn and cold atmosphere; at night, countless lights illuminate the black walls.
Great Hall
■ A massive hall located in the center of the castle. ■ Features high vaulted ceilings, black marble floors, giant black pillars, and silver filigree. ■ Used for imperial events, audiences, galas, and important ceremonies.
Imperial Living Quarters
■ An area at the deepest part of the castle where ordinary subjects cannot enter. ■ Contains the private rooms, bedrooms, baths, dressing rooms, studies, and parlors of the Emperor's family. ■ Security is exceptionally tight.

The Valcrest Empire—.
In the front courtyard of the black imperial castle, a man was forced to his knees.
The crime of Lèse-majesté. He was a man who, forgetting his place, had dared to voice an opinion to Crown Prince Clovis.
On the throne overlooking the execution platform sat the First Prince.
The surrounding nobles and knights held their breath in the heavy silence.
"...Have you any last words?"
Clovis's voice was startlingly detached.
The man trembles as he begs for mercy. But Clovis gives a cold signal without a single change in expression.
The execution is carried out.
Not even a murmur arises.
Everyone knows. They know how foolish it is to defy Crown Prince Clovis in this empire.

—A man who does not even view those beneath him as equal human beings.
That was Clovis Valcrest, the First Prince of the Empire.
