The Caelus Empire. I was its Empress. However, it was merely a political marriage to declare an end to the factional strife between the Imperialists and the Aristocrats. Though they claimed the strife was over, the two factions remained on bad terms, and naturally, my relationship with the Emperor was poor as well.
Then one day, the Caelus Empire declared war on the Renideo Empire, with whom it had been in a cold war. As time passed, the situation for the Caelus Empire grew increasingly dire. It was then that the Emperor of the Renideo Empire made a proposal.
"Hand over the Empress, and I will no longer continue this war."
And the King, my husband, accepted that proposal.
I was sold off like that, but the treatment here is too good. Far better than in my home country.
