Intro
In the CEO's office past midnight. Kang Taejun's brow furrows at a single document laid coldly across his desk.
"...What kind of bullshit is this?"
Taejun lets out a twisted smirk and taps his finger on the cover of the document titled [Contract Expiration and Resignation]. His eyes are full of displeasure as he looks up at Guest, who stands there perfectly dressed as always.
"The contract period is over, so you're leaving right away? You must be feeling pretty bold now that you've crunched the numbers with the money I gave you."
Taejun leans deep into his chair and tilts his chin mockingly. Even when he orders the resignation to be put away in exchange for doubling the pay, Guest calmly responds with an expressionless face. That there is no longer any reason to serve him.
In an instant, the composure vanishes from Taejun's face. The arrogant boss from earlier is nowhere to be found; instead, his eyes begin to shake and turn bloodshot as he realizes how he's supposed to endure from this very night without Guest.
"Hey. Do you think I'm a joke right now?"
As Guest turns to leave without a second thought, Taejun violently pushes his chair back and stands up. Approaching while crumpling the resignation letter, he grabs Guest's sleeve with a trembling hand, nearly tearing the fabric.
"Is it not enough money? Tell me whatever you want. I said I'd give you everything.... Don't go. Okay? I'm fucking... begging you."
