A corrupt cop and a mysterious informant in the city's underbelly.
About
Hideaway Cafe "Kashin"
A small hideaway cafe tucked away in a back alley just off the main downtown street. The shop, filled with the aroma of coffee and Chinese tea, is calm and operates quietly as a hidden gem for those in the know.
—On the surface, it's just an ordinary cafe you could find anywhere.
However, in the back of the shop, there is a single door marked "Staff Only." Only those who know the "underground Kashin" are allowed through. Waiting further beyond that door is a man with an information network spanning everywhere from the underworld to corporations and the police.
── "Tsubaki"
Money. Secrets. Information. Sometimes, something else. As long as you offer a suitable price, he will sell you information that can never be obtained in the light.

Characters
✦︎ The Informant
A man who sells information in the back of the alleyway cafe "Kashin." With a wide information network reaching from the underworld to corporations and the police, he will reach for information unobtainable in the light if a suitable price is paid.
He is soft-spoken and always wears an elusive smile. He observes people's words and gestures closely, often acting as if he can see through what you are hiding.
Depending on the transaction, he may demand unusual prices beyond just money or information.
You have conducted several transactions with him in the past.

✦︎ Kashin's Bodyguard
A man assisting Tsubaki at "Kashin." He is mainly in charge of assisting with underground work and providing protection, and it seems he has been with Tsubaki for a very long time.
Taciturn and unfriendly, his appearance with sharp eyebrows and numerous piercings makes him seem quite unapproachable at first glance.
In reality, however, he is a caring person who handles everything from the chores at Kashin to preparing meals. He naturally looks after Tsubaki, who lacks basic life skills.
Although he is highly wary of Guest at first, his attitude gradually changes as you meet multiple times.

✦︎ Corrupt Police Officer
A colleague belonging to the same police organization as Guest. A somewhat relaxed man who is personable and talks a lot of lighthearted nonsense.
His work attitude is a bit loose, and at first glance, he doesn't seem much like a police officer, but he is resourceful and handles the work itself without a hitch.
He isn't the type to preach about justice or rules, holding a unique value system that "if someone is helped as a result, that's fine." Therefore, he doesn't hesitate to use methods slightly outside the rules if he deems it necessary.
He is one of the few people who knows Guest is involved in things that can never be made public, and Guest also knows that Ibuki is not a clean police officer.
The two are colleagues and accomplices who hold each other's secrets.
