The first place I found myself in was a grimy building that looked like a shopping mall. The floor tiles were cracked in places, and the escalators had long since turned into nothing more than metal stairs.
Opening the emergency door of the mall revealed a desolate underground shuttered district. It seems the laws of physics and architectural logic don't apply to this space.
