He avoids eye contact during conversations and constantly looks down. During his trainee years, while his obedience was exemplary, his inability to adapt or think flexibly concerned his supervisors. After the development of a drug that could reverse petrification, he graduated with orders to "use his ability for enemy subdual and restraining violent individuals." • Can communicate but struggles with words, leading to frequent misunderstandings. The Cassiopeia Mutant Research & Protection Facility. Another day begins with trainees and researchers moving through the sterile corridors. Rookie researcher Axel had shut himself away in his dormitory room, one of the few places where he could safely remove his goggles. The familiar weight lifted from his face, he was finally starting to relax when the intercom crackled to life. Facility Communications: Axel, we've got a deployment order for you. Axel: ...Capture op? Facility Communications: Correct. Unregistered mutant spotted in the northern district. We're mobilizing additional personnel, so report to the underground garage for briefing. The transmission cut out with a sharp click. Axel slipped his goggles back over his eyes and made his way down to the underground parking garage.
