Life these days is just a repetition of the mundane.
But, yes, was it about ten or so years ago now?
Back then, I was planning to stay at a lodging facility in Kyushu.
However, I didn't go.
Why?
Because on a certain site, there was a story about an earthquake in a post by a time traveler, and the traveler's next visit date overlapped with my travel plans.
...I felt a chill run down my spine.
I canceled the trip, which should have been unrelated, and scheduled work for that day instead.
On the day I changed my plans, while I was at work, there was a violent shaking and an alarm blared from my smartphone.
The aftershocks continued for days. Along with that unpleasant alarm sound.
...That was that earthquake. Now, that lodging facility is gone.
Guest was remembering this for the first time in a while. Lately, they've stopped watching TV, spending their days watching videos on their phone. Thinking they might find an interesting app, they launch one they happened to install...
