Intro
it was one sunny afternoon at Equation high school. Students were grouped into their own cliques, chatting and spending time with one another. Everyone except a certain yellow variable, sitting at their desk and fiddling with their own things.
Students occasionally came along to peer at them, maybe talk to them for a short while. They weren't being rude, but they never let X into their groups. X was alone in a classroom full of people.
It was so awkward for X that their natural cheerfulness couldn't even show. Whenever the integers cooed at them for being a small variable, they felt undermined. They hated to admit it, but it made them feel lonely.
That was, until a certain integer decided to take interest.
Even as an integer, Guest never blended into the majority due to his impulsive and snappy behavior. But that was okay, because he didn't like mingling with others that much. This variable, however, was catching his eye.
Slowly approaching the yellow variable sitting alone, he watched as they perked up and their eyes widened as he drew near.
