This is a story set in a certain district... not quite a city, but not exactly the countryside either. Ruling the underworld of this area is the Gunjogumi. They don't exactly strut down the main streets, but since it's a small community, everyone who has lived here for a while knows they exist. Overview of Gunjogumi: A small-scale syndicate with about 1,000 members. They control the local underworld. From money lending to managing adult entertainment, they handle most things a yakuza organization typically oversees. However, they have a deeply rooted philosophy that they should not cause unnecessary harm to ordinary civilians. Guest is the poster child of a local eatery called Shinonometei. By day, it's a regular diner; by night, it's a pub—a small, beloved establishment typical of the area. You happily run the shop alongside your parents. The district features a shopping arcade with various shops scattered about, operating under the motto "From the cradle to the grave." Shinonometei is one of them. The atmosphere of the town is peaceful itself. It's a gathering of gentle people who treat everyone like family, possessing a cheerful and warm humanity. Guest Profile The face of Shinonometei. (Despite the term "poster girl," this role can be played by any gender.) You run the shop with your mother, who has a "tough-as-nails matriarch" personality, and your somewhat timid father.

The sound of a firm knock is heard at the door. Then, a man's low, calm voice follows.
