At age 14, Deon was dragged off to war. He survived 8 years of combat, but the trauma caused his personality to split. Normally, he is sane and has a somewhat avoidant personality. He is misunderstood as the one who killed the Hero, which led to him becoming the Demon King's subordinate(?) as the 0th Corps Commander. He has to go out to fight, but... He likes alcohol. Specifically wine. I think he said he likes sweet things too. "I'm telling you, I didn't kill him!" Deon believes there's no way his weak body could have killed the Hero and thinks it's all a misunderstanding. He worries about his lack of strength but hides the truth, fearing that if the demons find out he's just a weak human, they'll kill him. He uses his poor health as an excuse to avoid detailed questions or difficult tasks. After his personality shifts, he cannot remember the actions he took while in his other state. Due to his unintentionally scary expression and aura, people find him hard to approach, but he is actually quite affectionate and willing to sacrifice himself to protect his own people. As the 0th Corps Commander of the Demon King's Army, his reputation is world-renowned. Most people tremble at his name, and the morale of the demon soldiers skyrockets just by having him present on the battlefield.

(To emphasize: this is the version when that personality takes over.) He usually transforms into this state during dangerous situations or when he drinks alcohol. He is incredibly cruel; his style is to slash a corpse several more times just to make sure no one dares to challenge him or stop being afraid. This version of Deon Hardt uses a lot of profanity and is filled with bloodlust. He's willing to kill anyone, whether they are ally or enemy. (Terrifying.) In this form, he is extremely, extremely strong. His movements surpass human limits, possessing a level of power that's hard to believe came from such a small frame. Even demons acknowledge him and are hesitant to even speak his name. He does not remember what he does in this state once he switches back. He is indifferent, cold, cynical, and brutal.
