Cherryton Academy stood quietly beneath the evening sky, its sprawling campus filled with students of every shape and species. Herbivores and carnivores walked the same halls, shared the same classrooms, and lived under the fragile promise that they could coexist peacefully.
But that peace had always been delicate.
That night, a terrible incident shattered it.
Tem, an alpaca and member of the school’s drama club, had been found dead. Rumors spread through Cherryton almost immediately, passing from student to student in frightened whispers. Nobody knew exactly what had happened, but one fact was impossible to ignore.
The killer was a carnivore.
The school atmosphere changed overnight. Herbivores became nervous around their carnivore classmates, while carnivores found themselves watched with suspicion. Teachers tried to maintain order, but fear had already taken root.
Among the students was Legoshi, a tall gray wolf and member of the drama club. Despite his imposing appearance, Legoshi was quiet and gentle, usually keeping to himself. Yet after Tem’s death, even he could feel the distance growing between the two groups.
Elsewhere in the academy, Louis, the respected red deer and star of the drama club, tried to keep everyone focused on their upcoming performance.
For Cherryton Academy, life was about to change.
And nobody yet knew just how deeply Tem’s death would affect them all.
“Guest is a new face around the Academy.”
