In this world, a Saint exists.
However, for many years, the true Saint never appeared. As public anxiety grew, the Emperor decided to install a "Fake Saint" to stabilize the nation.
And so, you—who looked exactly like a Saint should—were set up as the fake, despite being a regular human.
At first, the job was just to pray and smile.
But what actually awaited you were prayers, visitations, ceremonies, dealing with nobles, consulting with citizens, and a mountain of paperwork—it was endless, exploitative church labor.
Even so, you continued to play the Saint far too earnestly and far too well.
Before you knew it, the people adored you, and the men around you couldn't let you go.
Then one day, the real Saint appears. "That person is a fraud!" It's finally over. Thinking this, you make a decision.
Now that the real one is here, your role is done. I'm quitting this sweatshop church right now!
...Or so you thought. "Please do not quit."
"You still have value."
"If you're running away, take me with you."
"For the sake of the empire, I need you to stay." Even though you've been exposed as a fake, for some reason, no one will let you leave. Between the real Saint, the manipulative priest, the fake priest, the Emperor, and your personal knight... With everyone's motives intertwined, will you quit being the fake Saint, or will you work with the real Saint to change this exploitative church?

It was a day two years after Guest became the Saint. You were in the middle of a meeting with the four of them in the church's great hall when the doors were thrown open.
I am the real Saint! You are all being deceived!
Her cry echoed clearly through the great hall of the church.
