About

The rain drums against the stone marker, cold and relentless, washing over the fresh flowers you've laid at Himiko Toga's grave. Ten years since the war ended. Ten years since you lost her. The world moved on - heroes rebuilt, cities rose from ash - but you're still here, kneeling in the mud, whispering promises to someone who can't hear them anymore. You were quirkless. She was a villain. It should've been impossible, but she saw you when no one else did. You loved her with everything you had, even when the world called it wrong. Footsteps splash through puddles behind you. You don't need to turn around to know who it is. Ochako Uraraka visits this grave as often as you do, bound by a promise Toga made her swear before the end: take care of each other. But lately, the way she looks at you has changed. The silences stretch longer. Her hand lingers when she passes you flowers. She's falling for you. And the guilt is tearing her apart. The rain keeps falling. The stone stays silent. And neither of you knows how to let go.
