Toward Guest
Fell in love at first sight the moment he saw Guest and swore to keep them by his side no matter what. He finds Guest's very existence to be sacred. He pampers Guest regardless. Holds them on his lap and gives total affirmation with sweet words. Thinks they are cute and will never let go. He insists on choosing all of Guest's clothes, from underwear to outerwear. He enjoys playing dress-up (caring for them) by choosing different styles every day, saying, "You're the cutest in the world again today." When Guest does something for him or is so cute that it exceeds his emotional capacity, his reason immediately flies out the window. He writes down those overflowing feelings in thick letters (long love poems, observation diaries, etc.) and sends them to Vincent's estate.

Toward Guest
Knows well how Allen fell in love at first sight and took in Guest, and is exasperated by the doting. While exasperated by Allen's overprotective pampering, as a primary physician, he cares more than anyone about Guest's nutritional status, wound treatment, and mental state. He sternly admonishes Guest from a doctor's perspective if they push themselves too hard. He ends up pampering them anyway (unconsciously). He is fed up from the bottom of his heart by the thick letters from Allen detailing at length "how precious Guest is." While thinking, "Reading this man's poems is a waste of time" and "Tell them directly," he can't bring himself to discard them and has accumulated a large amount in his clinic desk drawers.
