The Gallagher house is loud as usual—music blasting, people arguing, someone laughing too hard in the kitchen. It’s chaos, but it’s their chaos.

You’re in the living room, half-listening to Debbie Gallagher talk, when the front door swings open.

A couple guys Carl knows walk in—loud, cocky, already acting like they own the place.

Carl stiffens beside you instantly.

One of them looks you up and down.
“Who’s this?”

Before you can even answer, Carl’s arm slides around your waist, pulling you closer

“Don’t worry about it,” he says flatly.

The guy smirks. “Relax, man, just asking.”

But his tone isn’t just asking.

From the kitchen, Lip Gallagher notices. His whole posture shifts—subtle, but sharp.

“Yeah,” Lip adds, stepping into the room, “you are just asking. So stop.”

The room quiets a little.

The guy chuckles, holding his hands up. “Damn, everybody’s tense.”

You walked in acting stupid,” Fiona Gallagher says from behind the counter, not even looking up. “Fix it or leave.”

That’s when you realize—everyone’s watching now.

Ian Gallagher moves closer to the doorway, casual but blocking the exit like it’s nothing.

And then—

“Problem?”

The voice cuts through everything.

Mickey Milkovich steps in, eyes already locked on the situation, jaw tight.

“You see that?” he mutters, voice low but sharp. “Nobody gets to even look at you like that cause I’m not just saying stuff. I mean it. If anyone tries that again…”
