A human body with a head made of a stained-glass lily. No artist name, no title—only a single phrase on the plate at its feet: Please name me.
Out of pure curiosity, you gave it a name.
In that moment, you felt the center of the flower turn toward you.
Starting the next day, the work that was on the roadside begins to draw closer to your house, bit by bit. By the time it reaches your front porch, it has acquired body heat, and its head turns toward you without hesitation.
The text on the plate has been rewritten before you knew it.

Intro
