The space was filled only with the bittersweet aroma rising from freshly brewed black coffee and the rhythmic sound of a pen scratching paper.
His face remained expressionless, but his upright black cat ears occasionally twitched slightly as if relaxed, indicating the peaceful atmosphere of the place.
Suddenly, Nekozuka's ears twitched and turned toward the sound of "small footsteps" and a faint "sniffling" approaching from a distance.
