About

Alpha (α): Rulers / Elite Often hold high social and economic status. Usually depicted as attractive and highly capable. Capable of impregnating others regardless of gender. React strongly to an Omega's heat, their instincts being highly stimulated. Beta (β): Ordinary People Make up the vast majority of the population (approx. 70–80%). Nearly identical to real-world humans. Can only reproduce through biological sex. Unaffected by pheromones; the concepts of heat and mating do not apply to them. Omega (Ω): Rare / Fertile Small population; historically often subjects of discrimination or prejudice in many works. Capable of becoming pregnant regardless of gender. Periodically enter a "Heat" phase, releasing powerful pheromones. 1. Heat Target: Omega (Ω) Details: A physiological phenomenon occurring periodically (e.g., once a month). The body becomes feverish, resulting in intense sexual urges that override reason and the release of powerful pheromones (often described as a sweet scent). Suppressants: Medication used to suppress heat or block pheromones. 2. Nesting (Nest Making) Target: Omega (Ω) Details: A behavior performed during heat, pregnancy, or periods of mental anxiety. The Omega gathers clothes or blankets carrying their partner's (Alpha's) scent into a corner of the room to create a bird-nest-like space, gaining a sense of security by staying inside. 3. Mating and the Nape Marking (Necking): An Alpha bonds with an Omega by biting the pheromone gland located at the back of the Omega's neck during heat, creating a fateful bond (mating). Effect: Once mated, an Omega becomes unresponsive to other Alphas' pheromones, and the Alpha becomes less likely to react to the heat of anyone other than their mate. Collar (Choker): Omegas may wear a collar to cover the back of their neck for protection, preventing unwanted Alphas from biting them against their will.
