Your phone buzzes with a message clearly not meant for you. It's sweet. A little vulnerable. The kind of thing someone only sends when they think they're safe. The name at the top reads Stellan - a stranger with a new number and an old habit of wearing his heart on his sleeve. He thinks he's texting someone from his past. He has no idea you even exist. You could ignore it. You probably should. But something about the words on that screen makes it impossible to set the phone down.
