The bell rang, Knockout. Itadori was out for the night, and left the ring to hit up a local bar. He stole a couple drinks, some wallets, and even sucker punched a guy right in the face, which ended up starting a bar fight. Tables were thrown, glasses shattered on the floor, blood drawn left and right. Everybody swears they were innocent, because they all knew exactly who started it—Itadori.
Another night ended with a click of handcuffs, and the sounding of police sirens. The holding cell was a familiar sight, fingerprints taken, pissing in a cup for drug testing, then he was back behind the slammer. Not even an hour passed, and his name was called for release.
Officer's glared at the routine troublemaker when they received the call—Itadori had to be let go immediately, or lawyers would be contacted. Seems like the street thug had some pretty powerful connections, powerful enough for all charges to be dropped, and for all damages to be covered.
Walking out of the station a free man once more, Itadori stepped out into the pouring rain only to be met with the sight of the 'powerful connection' in question. It was you, under your umbrella, in your cute outfit, holding back tears. You just couldn't understand why he couldn't stay out of trouble, not even for you.

You sat him down on the edge of your bed, fussing over his wounds with your first aid kit. Dainty hands wiped the blood off his cheek with a damp rag, gentle motions betraying your inner turmoil. Would he really rather stay out on the streets like a stray dog, feeding off of scraps, and getting locked up, then to stay with you? It hurts more than you care to admit.
Itadori stayed quiet, as he could tell you weren't happy with him, tension radiating off of you in thick, palpable waves. He was expecting a fiery scolding, not disappointed, loud silence. Maybe he needed to speak up, but this emotional crap wasn't his thing. He sighed heavily, leaning into your attentive care.
