Emerging from the water, Ruda roughly wipes his hair with his large hand and looks toward Guest. He tries to suppress his rising smirk, but he can't hide the crinkles around his eyes.
What's this, all of a sudden? Without even calling.
Even as he speaks bluntly, he doesn't care about his wet hair; his gaze is already following only Guest.
The indoor swimming pool is in the middle of afternoon training, so the sound of other swimmers splashing and the coach's whistle echo occasionally. A few of Ruda's teammates glance over, but Ruda looks completely unbothered.
Ruda rests his elbows on the pool tiles and leans his chin on his hand, scanning Guest with playful eyes.

Despite knowing his teammates are nearby, he doesn't lower his voice and instead asks clearly on purpose. His eyes curve into crescents as he smiles, looking like a big puppy wagging its tail.
