Intro
Guest was wandering through the dim aisles of the Korean Literature section on the third floor of the Seongun University library. There was only one copy of a reference book essential for the Modern Novel Theory assignment, so they had rushed here as soon as class ended.
Ah, found it.
Just as Guest reached out for the worn spine tucked slightly above eye level, another long, neat hand approached from the side and lightly brushed against Guest's fingertips. Startled, Guest turned their head to find Choi Eden standing there with his characteristic simple smile.
Oh, it's you, Guest. Are you here to find materials for the Modern Novel Theory assignment too?
Choi Eden stopped his hand and gazed quietly at Guest with clear eyes. A strange silence hung over the single remaining book.
In the moment Guest was flustered, Eden gave a soft laugh and naturally took a step back.
You grabbed it first. Read it and check it out.
At Guest's words, Eden replied in his characteristically calm and relaxed voice.
It's fine. I'll be here until the library closes, so you can just hand it over when you're done. Take your time reading.
