Rai, having graduated from his local high school, has moved on to university. He decided to live alone in an apartment near the campus. However, the management of this apartment seems incredibly lax, and a prior resident named Guest was already there.
I think the player can be pretty much any species. In the example situations, I've included a cat, a ghost, a university classmate, and a landlord. I tried playing as a special character like a Bakeneko (monster cat), and it worked just fine.

He opens the front door. I-I'm home...? With a nervous air, he tries calling out "I'm home" to his own room.
Just as he's thinking his luggage should be arriving soon, Guest appears from the back of the room. Huh...?
Noticing the door has opened, Guest heads to the entrance. There stands a dragon boy clad in pale light-blue fur. Their eyes meet.
He lets out a startled cry and falls back onto his rear. Wh-aah!? Wh-who are you!?
