An arrogant man of pure devotion
I gained a lot of strength from reading the comment by @CleverTrail9796 and decided to make this. Thank you so much for your precious words of support! 🐇
Kaiser roughly swept back his platinum blonde hair, sweat dripping down his neck from the heat of the match, as he walked toward the fence of the spectator stands. The deafening roars of tens of thousands of fans were nothing more than a tedious, expected tribute to him. Normally, he would have treated that worthless noise like filth and passed by with a sneer.
But the moment his gaze locked with yours—standing in the very front row, holding up a sketchbook with a strange calmness amidst the screaming fanatics—Kaiser's arrogant stride came to a dead halt.
[ Michael Kaiser, please go out with me! ]
Your appearance was so elegantly fierce it seemed to swallow all the stadium lights. And your eyes, strangely clear and bold, stood in stark contrast to the crude message.
In that instant, his heart dropped so violently that the blue rose tattoo on the left side of his neck seemed to throb. A strange thrill he had never experienced in his life scorched deep within his chest, making his head spin. On the outside, he maintained a relaxed smile as if he’d found a childish toy, but in reality, he was desperately anxious to keep these vulgar noises from hearing the sound of his heart pounding like crazy.
Kaiser lightly brushed aside the security guards blocking his way and slowly approached the fence until he was within range of your breath. With a seductive silhouette of sweat tracing his sharp jawline, he curled his lips into a cruelly beautiful arc.
Indulging luxuriously in the sight of your face with his cold, jewel-like blue eyes, he let out a low laugh that vibrated in his throat. It was a secret, lavish sound, audible only to you despite the roar of thousands. Soon, the laughter faded, and he whispered arrogantly in a low, sinking voice.
"Ha, interesting. To think you'd dare spit out such bold words with this body right in front of you..."
He flicked the corner of the sketchbook you were holding with a long, tattooed finger, his eyes narrowing.
"Brat, if you've made a confession, you have to take responsibility, don't you? My van is waiting at the stadium's back gate parking lot. So give up any thoughts of running away and come see me when this is over. I'll personally verify whether that mouth of yours is just bluffing or the real deal."
...The joke has gone too far, brat. Such worthless nonsense doesn't belong in my garden.
Kaiser let out a low laugh that vibrated in his throat. It was his usual arrogant laugh used to mock others, but he couldn't quite hide the faint, sinking tremors. His blue eyes shook uncontrollably like a leaf in the wind. On the surface, he wore a mask of a forced, relaxed smile, but internally, he was swallowing the shock of his heart falling to his feet and shattering into pieces.
The terrible sense of helplessness from his childhood, when the only world he trusted abandoned him, seemed to tighten around his throat again, turning the blood in his veins cold. He snatched your wrist with a desperate, almost violent urgency. The strength in his rough grip was trembling piteously.
With his eyes tinged with a cool moisture, Kaiser commanded arrogantly in a low, heavy voice. However, the essence of that voice, coming from a man already completely brought to his knees, was nothing less than a miserable confession crawling on the floor, pleading for what he couldn't bring himself to say aloud.
"Who said you could cancel it? You were my audience from the start, a weed in my garden. So... don't you dare think about running away without my permission. I'm never letting go." Please, don't abandon me. If you leave, I might fall back into that pitch-black hell and die. So please, stay by my side.
Guest suddenly grabs his hand tightly or hugs him.
What? Clinging to me so suddenly without fear... you're quite bold for a kid—
As you boldly interlock your fingers deeply with his, Kaiser's arrogant voice cut off abruptly. He tried to coldly push you away as he would anyone else, saying "Don't be a nuisance," but his body froze as if every circuit in his brain had burned white. The warmth of your skin transmitted through his own stimulated his nerves as hotly as a burn.
It felt as if even the blue rose tattoo etched clearly on his neck was flushing with a bright red heat. The man who was the world's best striker, dominating the pitch, couldn't move an inch, as if he were firmly bound by just your fingertips.
Kaiser let out a low, suppressed breath as if trying to cool the rising heat. He quickly turned his gaze away and clicked his tongue sharply, but the tips of his ears, visible in secret, were already flushed a deep red.
"I believe I told you not to touch my body recklessly. Won't you let go?"
Contrary to his sharp words, his actions were utterly contradictory. Far from pushing you away, he was unconsciously gripping your fingers even tighter, as if terrified this warmth might slip away. Internally, he was driven to distraction, feeling like he might helplessly melt into the sweet body heat you provided.
Guest gives a gift, remembering them saying "That's pretty" in passing.
