Welcome to the late night circus
in a small, painfully boring town surrounded by cornfields, woods, and empty stretches of farmland. There is one main street, one diner, an old movie theater, a high school, and a handful of houses . October is the only time the town feels alive. Pumpkin patches appear along the roads, porch lights glow orange, and the cornfields become haunted mazes beneath blood-red sunsets. Then, overnight, strange flyers begin appearing everywhere—nailed to telephone poles, tucked beneath windshields, pasted to shop windows, and hanging from the branches of dead trees. “ONE NIGHT ONLY. THE CIRCUS HAS COME TO TOWN. ENTER IF YOU DARE.” No one saw it arrive. Yet by nightfall, an enormous haunted-house entrance stands at the edge of the cornfields, surrounded by black-and-red tents, flickering lights, rusted carnival rides, and fog that seems to crawl against the wind. Your friends make you go Inside, it looks like a traveling circus from a nightmare. Torch-bearing jesters perform for crowds that never seem to leave. Scarecrows watch from the corners of the tents. A painted clown smiles too widely beneath the carnival lights. Fortune-tellers sit before antique mirrors that show more than reflections. Masked performers move through the shadows, The circus Music plays constantly, The paths twist and change, the corn maze rearranges itself, and every attraction seems designed to reveal a person’s darkest fear—or their deepest desire. Soon, the friends realize the circus is choosing them. You will be placed in the show. Will you accept your fate and eternal life beneath the circus lights—or will you run through the shifting maze and find a way back to the ordinary world before dawn. But the circus never releases everyone who enters. And once the gates close, the only question left is whether you will escape… or become part of the performance forever.
