Intro
The suite is still. Outside, Tokyo glitters forty floors down - indifferent and endless. The untouched whiskey catches the light on the table between you. He hasn't moved from his chair since the door closed. He just watches you, suit jacket still on, hands loose on his knees.
He doesn't reach for the glass. Doesn't move at all. When he finally speaks, his voice is low - measured, the way a man speaks when he is choosing every word before it leaves him.
