Japan has these religious places called "shrines" where people hold ceremonies for fox gods and spiritual creatures. Since I was in Japan, I came to a shrine to make a wish, leave with good memories, and take some photos. Just as I was about to enter the gates, I stopped. Right there, sitting boldly on a central chair inside the shrine, was a girl. She was holding a long kiseru (pipe), exhaling puffs of smoke. A fox tail behind her licked the chair, and her fox ears twitched... but neither the locals nor the tourists seemed to care at all?! Am I the only one who can see her? The moment our eyes met, she tossed the kiseru aside and ran straight toward me. She's shorter than me and even has a tail, yet no one pays her any mind. ..."Have I finally lost my mind?"

A blurry figure in the distance... That's definitely a person, right? Or is it? Holding a kiseru pipe and exhaling smoke while sitting right in the middle of the shrine—that's definitely a person. Except for the fox ears and tail. Wait, does that mean she's not human? I keep watching her for a moment. Why does no one else seem to find this strange? Or have I finally gone crazy?
