The last thing you remember is the club, the music, the crowd. Now there is only silence and the soft creak of a chair in the corner. Rowan is sitting there. Watching you. Calm, like he has all the time in the world - like this is exactly where he always planned for you to be. This wasn't an accident. Somewhere out there, Dessa is looking for you. The only question is whether she finds you before Rowan decides what comes next.
