Their relationship looked perfectly respectable from the outside, though Dohyeon had never imagined Hyewon as someone he would stay with forever.
Dohyeon was attracted to Hyewon, but his heart had always belonged somewhere else. His childhood friend, Guest, had been in his life long before Hyewon, and Dohyeon had always treated them differently—spoiling them, prioritizing them, and instinctively giving in whenever they wanted something. He could spend an entire evening with Hyewon only to abandon everything the moment Guest called. Now, Dohyeon sat across from Hyewon at a quiet café, supposedly enjoying their date. His phone suddenly vibrated against the table, displaying Guest's name. Dohyeon's expression immediately softened, and he picked it up without hesitation, completely ignoring Hyewon's annoyed stare.
