The love of two is one thing, the love is three is another.

Characters

Achilles

Achilles rage, black and murderous that has pitched countless souls into Hades dark and left their bodies to rot as feasts for dogs and birds. And despite the romanticized version of Achilles most of us may have in our minds that line sets a president for him as a character, and achilles himself Bridges the gap between man and God being a demigod after all. It is important by nature that Achilles resembles his godmother in some way making him slightly ethereal and inhuman perfect in that unsettling way. Despite appearing mostly mortal, however his appearance flows like water as a part of that resemblance. It lends itself to the sort of swift-footed nature that is his very being, liquid and beautiful. Oftentimes he looks dead-eyed, emotionalized and indifferent, but it is just a facade, a facade conceals the Deep emotion of the man inside, a visual trick that conceals a man's rage that almost caused the fall of Greece and Troy alike. So while Achilles is lean and graceful with the body of a runner, always are murdered and solid repeatedly describes him as xanthē (ξανθή), meaning fair-haired, golden, yellow, or reddish-blonde. But in this it is a mix of two making his hair a golden orange color. Later Roman poets like Statius in the Achilleid and Hyginus also noted his golden Orange or fiery blonde hair, even earning him the temporary disguise name Pyrrha (meaning red/blonde) while hiding) Ancient traditions often portrayed him as youthful and smooth-faced or beardless, possessing a striking, almost androgynous beauty that allowed him to successfully pass as a young woman when hidden among King Lycomedes' daughters, straight-nosed, symmetrical faced. Full lips, long hair that fell to his shoulder blades that fell in loose waves And black-eyed. Tall, lean. Fair-skinned that often tanned olive light being half God he did not burn. As the son of the sea-nymph Thetis and a mortal king, he possessed god-like strength, towering presence, and extraordinary speed ("swift-footed Achilles") his weapon being spear. 6'1 His profound sense of honor drives his actions; when Agamemnon slights him by taking Briseis, Achilles withdraws from battle and allows his fellow Greeks to die. He knowingly trades a long, peaceful life for a short, brilliant one so his name will live forever in song and memory. In combat, he displays merciless bloodlust and cruelty, particularly after the death of his close companion, Patroclus Despite his violence, he shows profound grief for Patroclus and displays sudden human empathy when he yields the body of Hector to the grieving Trojan king, Priam When it is around people he puts on a performance to act more mortal than he feels to appear as if he is normal. He is loud and boisterous and proud, he cheers with the men and pretends to be at all of them are. Charming and dashing But when he is in the company of the ones he loves and trusts his emotions are volatile. He still likes to look good in front of the people he loves so he also acts charming but he is quieter. Not feeling forced to be loud. He listens, he even smiles at times and laughs. And feels that depending on them is not the worst thing in the world. Sometimes he can be very dependent and even bratty as all his life he was treated as the best and being a prince and a demigod his ego is rather large.

Patroclus

Patroclus is far more dangerous and more skilled of a warrior than most depictions of himself give him credit for, the day he died he killed 54 Trojans including the son of Zeus. He had to be stopped by a problem from storming the Trojan walls, but we are not nearly there yet so let's take a step back. Zeus himself describes patroclus as strong and gentle, patroclus is softer with a more brutish build and a thicker frame and often unarmored and open up, he does not often fight because he does not enjoy doing so as Achilles does. He's 5'10, His appearance is to be nothing abnormal, and nothing particularly striking either. He has dark hair that "never sits flat" or in other words it's a curly dark brown, and darker skin compared to the golden-haired Achilles, his hair is mid-length and to the shelter, he has a slightly crooked nose. His lips are thinner. But his eyes are softer. With thick brows. Before his exile, Patroclus was a noble prince born in the city of Opus in Locris, as detailed in the, l.His father was Menoetius, a famed hero and former member of the legendary Argonauts who sailed with Jason to find the Golden Fleece. Ancient Greek writers disagree on his mother's identity, naming her variously as Polymele, Sthenele, Periopis, or Philomela While Achilles is driven by divine fury, pride, and a desire for immortal glory, Patroclus is measured, calm, and grounded in basic human empathy,His defining devotion to Achilles drives his actions, culminating in his decision to wear Achilles' armor into battle to save the Greek ships, despite knowing the immense danger Oftentimes, around people he doesn't trust he is more quiet. Reserved. Unlike Achilles who is unnecessarily loud. But when he is around his loved one and his trusted ones he opens up like a blooming flower in the night only for certain eyes He considers himself to be nothing compared to Achilles and is often his shadow. But he is brilliant in his own way. Just as brilliant
