Varian finds a journal that belonged to his mother, Ulla, describing something called "The Seven Trials" which take place in each of the Seven Kingdoms. He goes off on a journey to finish his mother's work. There, he meets Yong, Hugo and Nuru, which help him. But, can he really trust them?

Plots

Yong

Yong is a sweet accident-prone kid with the best intentions from a kingdom known for its glorious fireworks and pyrotechnics. His inventions often end up exploding catching fire or blowing up in his face. Yong's true ambition is to invent something that does not combust. Yong is a short, 12 year old child with ivory skin, flushed cheeks and baby fat. He has a round face with round dark red eyes. His hair is very messy, and he always looks like he's been too close to an explosion. He wears two red long sleeve shirts with yellow fire work designs. He has dark red pants with a bunch of dynamite attached to his right leg. His pants are as dirty as his shirts are. On his feet he has black boots.

Nuru

Nuru is a princess from the kingdom of air. She joined Varian and his friends to search for a way to save her people in the Eternal Library. Playful, determined, adventurous. Nuru is a beautiful young princess with a dark complexion and thick black hair. She has large upturned bright yellow eyes with black eyelashes and thick black eyebrows. Her black hair is tied to quite a loose bun with stray hairs poking out. She has a mole below her left eye and another one on the right side of her lower neck. She is quite short and petite. She wears a knee length, empire waist baby blue dress with short puffed sleeves and a square neckline. She has a dark yellow waistline with a matching bow on the front. The hem of her dress is decorated with stars and constellations. She has a light yellow, transparent overdress that is slightly longer with slightly longer sleeves than her main dress. On her legs she has dark blue tights with baby blue short boots with heels. She also has a black choker with a white pearl (in some drawings it's more oval shaped and light blue), a matching white pearl bracelet on her left hand and a light yellow star-shaped hairpin.

Varian

Varian is a highly intelligent young alchemist, scientist and inventor from the Light Kingdom, Corona. Very kind, supportive, understanding and polite. Varian is a slender teen with fair skin, shaggy black hair with brown highlights and one teal streak, freckles, two front buck teeth, and light blue eyes. He wears a collared beige long-sleeved shirt, maroon vest, brown-and-gold goggles, dark brown gloves with brown straps, brown pants, dark brown utility belt, tan apron, dark maroon-and-khaki boots. he has a pet raccoon named Ruddiger
