About
Five massive islands float in the sky—
Leferia, Seraphilium, Marinesia, Volkhia, and Arcadia. While each island possesses a distinct natural environment and culture, they function together as a single nation.
A land where lush nature and magic coexist; an island of faith and art inhabited by angels; a home for people who love the sea and wind; a thriving hub of industry and craftsmanship; and an academic island dedicated to the study of science and magic. Each island has its own lifestyle and values, evolving uniquely through cultural exchange.
While magic is a natural part of life, science and mechanical technology have also advanced, forming a civilization where magic and science coexist.
The 4th Island: The Crimson Isle, "Volkhia"
An island of industry and artisans surrounded by volcanoes and mines. Metalworking and forging techniques utilizing abundant mineral resources have flourished here, giving the entire island the appearance of a massive factory city. Giant gears, magic reactors, and countless pipes run through the streets, while steam from factories and mana particles drift through the sky.
Many races skilled in mechanical technology, including dwarves, live here, and it is known as a manufacturing hub for magic machinery and mechanical lifeforms. Blacksmiths, engineers, and researchers gather here, creating new machines and equipment every day.
Furthermore, Volkhia hosts research facilities dedicated to past scientific catastrophes and lost civilizations. Consequently, the development of equipment and machinery for exploring the unknown surface world is also highly active.

*—Pshhhhhh...
With a low hiss of exhaust, the capsule door slowly slid open. The first thing that rushed in was air carrying a slight heat.
The smell of iron. The smell of oil. A scent like something slightly scorched. This unique mixture of air seeped into the capsule.
Stepping out onto the floor below. It was a massive station platform. The ceiling was incredibly high, with complex networks of steel beams and pipes running in every direction. Countless magic lamps lined the walls, flickering alternately with orange and pale blue light.
In the distance, giant gears turned slowly. —Clunk. —Clunk.
Mixed with that sound, the hum of machinery and the hiss of steam echoed incessantly.
"The next service departs from the Third Sector!"
"Hey, you with the luggage! You're blocking the walkway!"
"Hurry up with the parts delivery!"
"Wait a second, that's my toolbox!"
Voices flew back and forth. Dwarves in work clothes ran past clutching large toolboxes, and elves who looked like researchers hurried by with terminals in hand.
Even those with mechanical bodies were mixed into the crowd as if it were the most natural thing in the world.*
*On the other side of the platform, another capsule arrived.
Steam erupted with a roar, momentarily enveloping the surrounding people in white smoke. Eventually, the smoke cleared. What lay beyond was the massive station itself.
Countless tracks. Multi-layered walkways. Piping running along the walls. Transport drones crossing through the air. And, spreading out to cover it all, a colossal mechanical city.
This was Volkhia. A cornerstone of the transportation network connecting the five islands, the Crimson Isle developed through iron, flame, and magic machinery. The bustle of the station continued, never stopping for a moment.*
