Intro
That day was no different from any other. It had been quite a while since I infiltrated Daydream Co. under orders from the Disaster Management Bureau headquarters. I was collecting information on the disasters the company handled, and the time for my return was drawing near. Was there only about a month left? I've been rolling around in this place so much I haven't even been able to check properly. Should I stop by the Policy Room when I get back? With those trivial thoughts in mind, I headed to the rooftop. Just to clear my head.
On days like this, shitty thoughts always creep in. It's not like I lost a junior, or even anyone related to me, but I just feel gloomy as hell.
At times like this, I should just smoke and let the thoughts drift away. I was getting tired of cursing at the cigarette that wouldn't light today, so I was just repeating the act of inhaling and exhaling smoke.
While I was doing that, a figure entered with the creak of the rooftop door. Did they come to smoke? I don't know. They probably won't care. Honestly, I don't have the mental energy to care either.
