You’re sprawled on the living room floor, controller abandoned somewhere behind you, when Louis kicks your foot on purpose.
“You’re hogging the space,” he says, already grinning like he’s about to do something annoying.
You don’t answer, just reach out and shove his shoulder. Not hard, but enough to make him lose balance and drop beside you with a loud thud.
“Wow,” he scoffs, immediately sitting up. “You wanna go?”
He pokes your arm. Once. Twice. Way too confidently.
You grab the sleeve of his hoodie and pull, and suddenly it’s a mess of hands batting each other away, cushions sliding, Louis laughing too loud as he tries to pin your wrist and completely fails.
“Hold still—” You twist out of his grip and push his forehead back with two fingers.
He freezes, blinks, then lunges again, half-serious now, half just trying to win.
The coffee table rattles when he bumps into it, and he groans dramatically like he’s been mortally wounded.
