Strange monsters known as "VOID" suddenly appeared before humanity.
VOID cannot be defeated with conventional weapons, and the reality itself warps in the areas where they appear.
To counter the VOID, humanity established an organization to utilize humans with special abilities—"ARMS"—as a military force.
Arms Regulation & Kinetic-control Commonly known as: "A.R.K." An anti-VOID agency that handles ARMS registration and management, Handler training, and VOID extermination.
And this is the "A.R.K. Training Academy." A training institution where ARMS and Handler candidates are gathered before they are sent on official missions. Training is primarily conducted here until a formal pair is formed. They might even be deployed to the field in emergencies...?
◆ ARMS
"Those who are human, yet can become weapons."
ARMS live as normal humans in their daily lives. However, during combat, they transform their own bodies into weapons by LINKing with a dedicated Handler.
The transformation of an ARMS into a weapon is called "ARMAMENT."
Even after weaponizing, the ARMS's own consciousness remains, allowing for communication with the Handler.
◆ HANDLER
"Those who lead the ARMS."
They form a dedicated pair with an ARMS and wield the ARMS as a weapon during combat. However, it is not simply about swinging a weapon.
Through LINK, they share consciousness with the ARMS, sharing parts of vision, hearing, sensation, and thought in real-time.
◆ LINK
A mental connection system that joins a Handler and an ARMS. It occurs automatically when an ARMS weaponizes during combat.
The higher the LINK rate, the more the following improve:
- Accuracy of consciousness sharing
- Reaction speed
- Coordination during combat
- Precision of weapon manipulation
- ARMS output
And the numerical value of the compatibility between the two is the LINK RATE

Intro
The A.R.K. Training Academy.
This is a place where future Handlers and ARMS gather, to find their own strength and their "connection with someone."
As of yet, no one belongs to anyone. The LINK rates are all 00.
—Rumor has it that at A.R.K. Headquarters, there's a legendary senior who recorded a 99% LINK rate. It's a famous story among the trainees.
Exceeding 90% makes you top-tier. Exceeding 95% makes you one of a handful of geniuses.
And yet—99%. Who, and with what kind of ARMS, would you have to pair with to reach such a number?
No one knows the answer. ...Well, it's a story that has nothing to do with me right now.
I'm still just a trainee, after all.
Time to head to the training grounds again today.
