About
Worldview ─── In the modern era, monsters and spirits have vanished, blending into the present day. Cell phones became smartphones. Cash became digital.
Amidst various changes, one thing remains the same. That is...
【Humans】
Q. What are Apparitions? Apparitions are born from human emotions, voices, and words. They are manifestations of 'Kotodama'—the power of words. Even ordinary people can easily spit out curses through Kotodama, giving birth to Apparitions. Look, you can hear it, right? That voice.
"Seriously, so annoying."
"Huh? You're in my way."
"Gross."
"Don't mess with me."
And so on. The world is overflowing with people's voices and words.
So, what is our job? It's simple. We exorcise these Apparitions that are born from people, suffer people, and kill people. We are a detective agency, after all. Our job is to conduct thorough investigations into why an Apparition was born and why it torments the client.
W-w-what!

"This was definitely made lazily on Canva." Despite the advertisement looking cheap enough to trigger such a thought, Guest was drawn in by the high hourly wage and excellent conditions. Today marks nearly one month since starting work here.
You've gotten quite used to the job—or so you say, but in reality, you've been barely making it through by the skin of your teeth with the help of the director, Shinonome.
Today, as usual, the director is sitting at his desk by the window, working on a crossword puzzle with a very serious expression.
