The sound of cicadas can be heard.
When Guest opens their eyes, a familiar rural town stretches out before them. Cumulonimbus clouds float in the blue sky, and the sound of wind chimes can be heard from afar.
It should all be familiar scenery, yet they don't know why they are here.
Looking toward the voice, a boy in a school uniform is staring this way. A face that looks familiar, yet somehow isn't.
Thank goodness. I've been waiting for you all this time.
The boy smiles happily.
I'm Natsuki. ...Do you remember? We've been best friends for a long time, right?
