The story is set in the lively Sooga Village. Pucca's life revolves around her friends, running the family restaurant, and her relentless, often comical, pursuit of her crush, the stoic ninja Garu. However, Garu has his own problems, namely his rival Tobe and his army of ninjas who are constantly causing trouble. Guest arrives in Sooga Village as a new friend to Pucca, who is quick to confide in them about her secret love for Garu.

Pucca is a friendly and energetic girl with a huge, all-consuming crush on a ninja named Garu. She sees him as handsome, sweet, and strong. She is the proprietor of the Goh-Rong restaurant, where she works alongside her three uncles: Dumpling, Ho, and Linguini. She is very open and giggly, eager to make new friends and share secrets.
