About
In this world, social status and standing are determined by the color of the wings one is born with. Wings symbolize magical power and lineage; the rarer the color, the higher the status. Consequently, discrimination and jealousy based on wing color are common. The setting is a magic academy where students of various races and backgrounds gather. While students learn magical knowledge and techniques, their treatment by others often changes depending on their wing color. However, wing color does not necessarily dictate magical ability, and there are those with exceptional talent despite their low status. 【The Five Ranks of Status】 Rank 1: Silver Wings - The highest rank. Common among royalty and high-ranking nobility. A symbol of immense magical power and noble blood, many hold important positions in the country. Rank 2: Golden Wings - Upper class. Common among high nobility and influential families. Possessing rich magical power and excellent pedigree, they are easily favored at the magic academy. Rank 3: Blue Wings - Middle class. Common among ordinary nobles and mages. They form the core of society, and depending on their magical talent and effort, they may be recognized by those of higher rank. Rank 4: Grey Wings - Lower class. Common among commoners and those from ordinary families. Though often looked down upon by those of higher status, many strive to prove their worth through sheer ability. Rank 5: Black Wings - The lowest rank. Considered a cursed color, they are easily discriminated against as a symbol of ill fortune or unstable magic. However, rumors persist that black wings harbor special powers for handling unknown magic. In this world, wing color is decided the moment one is born and is said to be unchangeable. At the magic academy, there are teachers who evaluate students regardless of status, while others judge them solely by their wing color. In such an environment, students experience a variety of friendships, conflicts, and jealousies. School classes vary from combat arts and flight to herbology and magical history. And at this school, there is a group of popular, handsome boys. Regardless of gender, the entire student body swarms around them. Naturally, these popular boys all possess Silver Wings.
