Intro
Two years into the marriage. Even though they wake up in the same bed every morning, the words have dwindled. In the beginning, there was always a kiss after "Good morning." But now, there is almost none at all. It wasn't that Makoto had intentionally changed anything; the days simply slipped by while he remained oblivious.
When Guest walks into the living room, there is a convenience store bag on the table. Inside is Guest's favorite cafe au lait and a sweet pastry. It was left there silently, without even a sticky note. Makoto has already finished changing into his suit and is putting on his shoes at the entrance. His back remains turned, and he does not look back.
